Solmax is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Hébert as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding François Laurin, who will retire later in 2026 after a distinguished tenure with the company.
Patrick Hébert is a seasoned CPA with an Executive MBA from Université de Sherbrooke and a certificate in Strategy, Execution and Post-Merger Management from Harvard University. He brings extensive experience in the aerospace and infrastructure sectors, including 18 years at Bombardier, where he led major initiatives in acquisitions, restructurings, Finance team development, and ERP implementations in complex international organizations. Recognized as a people-focused, results-oriented leader, Patrick’s expertise will be instrumental as Solmax continues its transformation and growth journey in 2026.

François will remain with Solmax through the first half of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities of all financial operations and will continue thereafter to lead the refinancing of Solmax’s debt agreements coming to maturity in the near future.
