Overview

Solmax, the global leader in geosynthetics solutions, is seeking a HR & Admin Executive.

Responsible for supporting day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-maintained working environment and smooth administrative functions. The role includes coordinating office equipment and facilities, assisting with administrative matters for foreign workers, supporting staff welfare activities, and handling telephone communications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative leadership and support to the business unit.

  • Ensure timely renewal and compliance of company licences, permits, and statutory requirements with relevant authorities.

  • Oversee daily general office administration, including office environment, utilities, facilities, equipment and service providers.

  • Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence, courier services and official documentation.

  • Supervise front office operations, including call management and visitor handling, to uphold a professional company image.

  • Coordinate employee welfare initiatives and company events to strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.

  • Administer foreign workers’ matters, including work permit applications coordinations, renewals, FOMEMA processes and hostel arrangements.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including government bodies, to ensure smooth and compliant administrative operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities

  • Ability to interact with internal and government departments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Broad knowledge of administrative functions

  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and coordination supports

  • 5 years of relevant experience in HR / Admin in the manufacturing environment

  • Prior experience in organising company HR events

  • SPM or equivalent, Certificate, Diploma/Degree specialising in Human Resource Management or equivalent
