Overview
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for maintaining optimal communication between internal customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and quotations. He/She is also responsible for coordinating all activities surrounding order entry management and entering orders into the computer system.
He/She is responsible for implementing all customer service policies, procedures and work instructions to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.
Your Main Responsibilities
Thoroughly assess and analyze customer needs regarding products, deadlines, and shipping;
Key in orders and quotations accurately into the computer system;
Coordinate with the logistics department to obtain the best freight rates, and with other internal functions to correctly inform customers of the status of their order or quote;
Support the customer experience and the sales teams to provide the best possible overall service.
Qualifications and Skills
College Diploma
1-3 years of Experience in customer service/ logistics/ sales
Bilingual English/French essential. Spanish will be considered an asset
