Job Summary

As a Buyer II at SOLMAX you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, responsible for the creation, modification, of PO’s through requirements reports and requisitions. Oversee procurement of direct and indirect materials along with managing local supplier relationships at a single site level,. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and ensure a reliable supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, modify and monitor purchase orders

  • Identify and qualify new suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement strategies with business goals.

  • Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record of managing strategic sourcing initiatives and achieving cost savings.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
