Solmax announces the appointment of Bob de Kruijf as Managing Director for the EMEA region, effective June 15.
Based in France, Bob will lead the company’s activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working closely with regional and global teams to strengthen performance and support the company’s long-term growth ambitions. He will report directly to Bob Gilligan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Solmax.
Bob brings more than two decades of international leadership experience in industrial businesses, with a strong track record of leading customer-focused, multi-site operations in complex environments. Throughout his career, he has consistently focused on aligning commercial priorities with operational execution, ensuring responsiveness to evolving market and customer needs.
He is recognized for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to build and develop high-performing teams. His approach emphasizes clear accountability, strong team leadership, and continuous development, enabling organizations to execute effectively while remaining agile in changing business conditions.
At Solmax, Bob will play a key role not only in leading the EMEA region, but also as a visible member of the global business leadership team, helping to align global strategy and support the prioritization of operational investments across the company.
