Pit Thermal Energy Storage reservoir construction on the Tibetan Plateau

At 4,600 m, Tibet’s first pit thermal storage uses Solmax geosynthetics to store 700 MWh of solar heat, supplying 90 percent of Langkazi’s district heating demand.

Surface sealing of Bornhausen Landfill 

At Bornhausen, our team installed 150,000 m² of geosynthetics, including geomembranes, drainage composites, and geosynthetic clay liners, to seal a Class II landfill. On a 7.5-hectare site with slopes up to 1:3, our BAM-certified products safeguard groundwater through effective surface sealing.
