Geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs), like BENTOLINER^®, play a crucial role in environmental protection by forming a barrier that prevents contamination of surrounding soil and groundwater. BENTOLINER is a superior-grade, needled GCL, featuring top-tier sodium bentonite sandwiched between two layers of geotextile. Fibers from the upper nonwoven are needle punched through the bentonite layer into the lower woven carrier fabric. This results in a strong mechanical bond between the geotextiles, reinforces the bentonite and keeps it in place even on steep slopes.
