Solmax strengthens global leadership team with appointment of Jim Hamakiotis as Chief Operating Officer

CEO Bob Gilligan continues to build momentum, enhancing operational leadership to support global growth.

Solmax announced the appointment of Jim Hamakiotis as Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to President and CEO Bob Gilligan. In this new role, Jim will oversee global operations - including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence - while working closely with the company’s Regional Business Teams to ensure seamless execution and customer service excellence worldwide.

Since joining Solmax as CEO in November 2024, Bob Gilligan has focused on aligning and developing the leadership team to further enhance customer value, accelerate operational improvements and pursue global growth. The appointment of a COO marks a significant step in that journey. It also reflects Solmax’s continued investment in top-tier talent to drive innovation, continuous improvement and global growth.
