1981

Our journey begins in Canada, with Solmax established as a trusted geosynthetics distributor.

1997

We shift from distributor to manufacturer, by opening our first manufacturing facility in Canada.

2009

We experience accelerated growth, opening a new production plant in Malaysia.

2017

We make two significant acquisitions - Brawler Inc. and GSE - setting us on the path to industry leadership.

2021

Acquiring both TenCate Geosynthetics and Propex in 2021, we cement our status as the world's largest geosynthetics manufacturer.
