Overview

The Maintenance Planner will be required to plan and coordinate maintenance activities, work orders & spare parts replenishment using Solmax CMMS tools to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency. He/She will lead the maintenance activities & contractors towards optimized performance, reliability, and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and automation systems within the plant. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage preventive, predictive maintenance, and shutdown (overhauling) schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Systems) for production, facility & utility equipment including internal & external resources, tooling, and spare parts management.

  • Coordinate and monitor the preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production, Monitor equipment performance and maintenance KPIs to identify trends & facility assets to minimize downtime and plant disruption.

  • Support in mechanical and electrical issues diagnosis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new machinery and equipment.

  • Prepare maintenance reports and documentation for external audits and internal reviews.

  • Develop standardized maintenance work documents as well as perform trainings for production & maintenance personal on maintenance management system requirements.

  • Collaborate with maintenance manager on utility management including compressed air station and network, chillers, silos and material handling systems.

  • Lead the governmental relation related to facility & utilities including the civil defense, fire department, electricity distribution company, new urban community’s authorities including regular inspections, license renewal, and modifications.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: a technical bachelor’s degree preferred in mechanical engineering.

  • 5+ years of work experience in similar role.

  • Skills & competencies: technical skills, problem solving, managing through systems, project management, as well as strong communication skills.

  • Good command of English language.

  • Good Auto-cad user.
