Overview
The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation, reliability, and safety of production equipment and site installations. This role involves preventive, corrective, and supportive maintenance, as well as collaboration on improvement projects. The position operates in a technical industrial environment requiring rigor, autonomy, and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
Apply and enforce current safety and environmental rules for employees and external contractors
Ensure continuous operation of production lines (on-call duty on a rotational basis)
Perform corrective, preventive, and temporary maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic installations across production equipment and the entire site
Prepare interventions using available tools (e.g., 360)
Write detailed reports on maintenance interventions using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Collaborate on studies, modifications, and improvements of production equipment and overall site installations
Participate in various projects and new equipment installations
Support spare parts management, including deletion, replacement, creation of articles, and optimization of stock levels
Assist external contractors working on site, especially for regulatory inspections
Ability to perform on-call duties on a weekly basis (approximately 20 times per year)
Required skills
Proven experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electromechanical systems)
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
Ability to read technical documentation and follow procedures
Autonomy, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Awareness of safety and environmental standards
