Best-in-Class Multi-Axial Break Elongation
Superior Flexibility Beyond Standard LLDPE
Extended Geomembrane Service Life
Superb UV Resistance
The GSE® LLX high-performance liner series' superior flexibility and excellent multiaxial performance makes it the best LLDPE geomembrane liner available on the market.
When a project demands the very best in flexible geomembrane performance, GSE LLX sets the benchmark. Building on the proven flexibility of the LLDPE product family, GSE LLX is engineered to deliver significantly enhanced multi-axial elongation, superior stress resistance, and an extended service life - making it the premium choice within Solmax's LLDPE range. Where GSE LL meets the requirements of standard flexible lining applications, GSE LLX is specified when performance margins cannot be compromised.
GSE LLX is manufactured using premium linear low-density polyethylene resin with an optimised additive package designed to maximise long-term durability. Its exceptional multi-axial break performance far exceeds standard LLDPE specifications, allowing it to accommodate significant differential settlement, dynamic loading, and complex subgrade conditions without loss of containment integrity. For closure systems, bioreactors, and any application where the liner is expected to undergo substantial deformation over its service life, GSE LLX offers an unmatched level of confidence.
The advanced formulation of GSE LLX is engineered not just for installation-day performance, but for decades of reliable service. Enhanced antioxidant stability and UV resistance contribute to a geomembrane that retains its mechanical properties over the long term - even in exposed applications — delivering a superior geomembrane lifetime compared to standard LLDPE products.
GSE LLX is available in a range of configurations to meet project-specific requirements:
Smooth surface — for applications requiring maximum elongation and conformance
Single or double textured surface — provides increased frictional resistance to improve slope stability on steeper gradients
Colour options — black (standard), green (for aesthetic landfill caps), or white (solar-reflective upper surface)
Liner integrity survey layer — bottom surface option enabling post-installation leak location surveys
GSE LLX is the geomembrane of choice when project specifications call for the highest available LLDPE performance. It is widely specified for landfill caps and closure systems where significant post-closure settlement is anticipated, as well as bioreactor lining, solid and liquid waste containment, secondary containment, mining applications, and pond lining. Wherever differential settlement, long-term exposure, or demanding mechanical conditions elevate the risk profile of a project.
