Overview
The Senior Manager Tax & Compliance plays a key role in transforming tax into a true strategic lever for the organization. Reporting directly to the Director Taxation Director, the incumbent acts as a trusted business partner, ensuring both rigorous tax compliance and the proactive optimization of the Group’s tax position within a complex and constantly evolving international environment.
Through deep expertise, the incumbent helps mitigate tax risks, supports the Company’s global growth, and informs business decisions through high-value tax analysis. He or she is involved in structuring initiatives such as international tax planning, corporate reorganizations, multi-jurisdictional compliance (including Pillar II and CbCR), and the management of tax audits.
Beyond technical responsibilities, this role is central to the development and maturity of the tax function: implementing robust processes, optimizing internal tools, coordinating external advisors, and working closely with Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Operations teams. With a solutions-oriented and continuous improvement mindset, the Senior Manager directly contributes to sustainable value creation, informed decision-making, and the visibility and influence of the tax function across the organization.
Responsibilities
Support the Director, Tax in optimizing the tax structure (corporate reorganizations, legal entity rationalization, international tax planning, etc.).
Prepare the Canadian and consolidated quarterly income tax provision.
Prepare Canadian tax returns.
Support Pillar II compliance and the preparation of Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
Act as an advisor to management on local foreign tax, international tax, and transfer pricing matters.
Work closely with global and regional Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, and Operations teams.
Analyze tax impacts related to contracts, changes in the business model, and restructuring initiatives.
Participate in the calculation of tax attributes (surplus, adjusted cost base, etc.).
Effectively manage tax audits and ensure structured communication with tax authorities.
Contribute to the development and optimization of internal tools.
Monitor and proactively track Canadian and international legislative and regulatory tax changes.
Coordinate the work of external advisors and oversee ad hoc tax resources as required.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree in taxation, or LLM in Taxation, or a combination of relevant education and experience
CICA In-Depth (or CPA Canada In-depth designation)
5–8 years of experience in tax compliance
Excellent comprehension of tax return in Canadian environment (International experience will be preferred)
Fluency in French and English (advanced, both oral and written)
Mastery of Excel
Demonstrated leadership in continuous improvement & implementing structural processes
