Maintenance Technician

Overview

Locate and correct power failures. Maintain all AC/DC drives. Maintenance on assigned equipment. Wire new equipment when required. Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices. Implement preventive maintenance and repairs and keep necessary records of work performed. Operate welding and soldering equipment to make necessary repairs. Responsible for use and security of shop equipment and tools. Take appropriate action when emergency repairs are necessary. Operation of drill presses, grinders and other shop equipment. Performs other duties as required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum education required: High School Graduate

• Minimum experience required: 3-5 years plant electrician preferred

• Description of working conditions/physical surroundings: Shop and Plant floor

• Shift work: 12-hour Shift

• Description of responsibility for work of others: N/A

• Contacts required inside or outside the Company: All departments in Company, Vendors and Contractors.
