Overview

As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s financial health and supporting its growth. You’ll work at the intersection of liquidity management, banking operations, and financial strategy—ensuring the organization has the right resources, at the right time, to operate efficiently and confidently.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and analytically driven environment.

**Position is hybrid, and based in Quebec, Canada. All applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and able to come to Longueuil’s headquarters**

Responsibilities

  • Analyze subsidiary cash flow forecasts and recommend actions to minimize non-productive balances, taking into account current and future liquidity needs. Coordinate with regional controllers to optimize cash positions and transfers.

  • Monitor daily banking operations related to global treasury management, ensure the accuracy and timely processing of transactions, and provide recurring cash position reports.

  • Optimize borrowings under credit facilities, including monitoring regional borrowings and coordinating with regional controllers as required.

  • Validate and document interest expenses and ensure that related transfers and payments are processed appropriately.

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the global interest rate strategy. Collaborate with finance and tax stakeholders to monitor, control, and optimize intercompany loans and other related transfers (dividends, etc.) in compliance with credit agreement covenants.

  • Participate in the development and execution of the global foreign exchange strategy and prepare monthly analyses of foreign currency transactions. Support negotiations related to credit agreement amendments and refinancings and maintain communications with banking partners for credit and treasury management purposes.

  • Execute hedging transactions, prepare transfers and documentation related to derivative instruments (foreign exchange contracts, interest rate swaps, etc.), and maintain structured, accurate, and up-to-date departmental documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the issuance and monitoring of letters of credit and guarantees; participate in managing access to electronic banking platforms; support AML and KYC requirements; and prepare required documentation under the credit agreement, including compliance reporting and basket tracking. Develop models to optimize these processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a similar role

  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

  • Solid understanding of banking products, credit facilities, and cash management

  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
