Pond liner manufacturer
A pond liner is a basin designed to collect and store hazardous
or non-hazardous liquid, for water retention, irrigation,
rainwater protection works, garden ponds and artificial streams
in parks and gardens.
Continually exposed, in whole or in part, to the sun, the
pond liner must be capable of withstanding ultraviolet rays.
Installed in conditions that can be made more difficult by
wind, dust harsh nature, rough, uneven, or unstable terrain,
the materials chosen to waterproof the pond will also have
to resist the aggression from sharp objects below the liner
and from being punctured by any objects. This is why the use
of geosynthetics is so appealing to the manufacturing process
of a pond liner. Nonetheless, the selection of the geosynthetics
layers has to be judicious, in regards to its application
and to the chemicals, hazardous or non-hazardous liquid, or
material that will be in contact with it.
Application
Pond liners are commonly used in the mining and petroleum
industry, solid and liquid waste treatment as well as civil
works.
