PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) SOLMAX 200 SERIES
PVC Flexible polyvinyl chloride is a thermoplastic material manufactured from a mixture of vinyl compounds, plasticizers and stabilizers.
PVC geomembranes have unique mechanical properties such as a high degree of flexibility, an excellent elongation percentage, a reduced expansion coefficient and considerable puncture resistance. Although polyvinyl chloride stiffens significantly as temperatures drop, special formulations have been developed that allow flexing below 15 °F (-10 °C). PVC liners can also be treated and certified NSF 61 to hold potable water suitable for human consumption.
Using a state-of-the-art dielectric process and infrared technology, Solmax manufactures pre-assembled panels capable of covering surface areas of up to 4,500 m² per panel. Thicknesses range from 0.25 mm to 1.5 mm. Factory seams are the work of experienced technicians operating in a controlled environment free of contaminants.
Fish grade PVC Products codes: SOLMAX 215FG, 220FG, 235FG When aquatic life is desired for applications such as architectural and horticultural ponds, specially formulated fish grade polyvinyl chloride liners are also available.
Potable grade PVC Products codes: SOLMAX 220PG, 230PG, 260PG PVC also comes in a potable grade, enabling its use for potable water containment as per National Sanitation Foundation Standard 61, “Drinking Water System Components.” Water stored in contact with potable grade PVC is accordingly safe for human consumption.
