Petromat MPV
Petromat® MPV nonwoven asphalt overlay fabric forms a membrane that minimizes surface water from penetrating pavement systems and provides a stress relief interlayer which inhibits the growth of reflective cracks.
Key points:
Engineered for low to medium cracking severity.
Equivalent asphalt thickness to achieve the same performance: 1-3".
Prevents penetration of surface water into the subgrade, even if the crack reflects through to the surface.
Features a stress-relieving interface that retards reflective cracking.
Provides uniform bonding between old and new asphalt layers to resist delamination.
Can be milled with conventional milling machines, and if saturated during installation is also recyclable.
