Position overview

Provide occupational health services and programs. Responsible to reduce the risk of chronic disease, sickness, and disability to promote a long, healthy, high-quality life and career. Work with Regional HSE to ensure compliance to all local, state, federal laws, and corporate guidelines regarding medical leaves and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing services and emergency treatments to employees who become ill or suffer a work-related injury.

  • Arranges and accompanies employees to panel physician visits for work related injuries and illness.

  • Perform follow-up to employees for all incidents and close calls.

  • Maintain contact and logs with any personnel on worker’s compensation.

  • Provide various preventive health evaluations and tests to assist in overall employee health and welfare.

  • Provide health promotion education.

  • Provide training and advice to facility first responders and safety committee.

  • Maintain required legal documentation and notes.

Qualifications and skills

  • Registered Nurse preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years occupational nursing.

  • Safety training preferred.

  • Communication Skills

  • Microsoft proficient.
