Position overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for sales and market development in the North Paris region and achieving annual revenue, margin, volume and profitability targets in the Civil Engineering and Building sales channels. This includes direct and indirect sales in the field (channel/partner/distributor).

In addition, the sales manager is responsible for account management, as well as managing its own sales operations and administration. Under the direction of a Sales Director or Regional Sales Manager, he executes our strategies on a day-to-day basis in order to have an immediate impact on the company's results in alignment with the company's objectives in the assigned area. The Sales manager is part of the sales team for a specific region.

Key responsibilities

  • Establishment and development of specific regional business objectives decided at national level for one or more Solmax product line(s) and preparation of periodic sales reports on market developments.

  • Strategic commercial responsibility for revenue, margin and market share.

  • Manage and train a network of distributors.

  • Direct and indirect commercial negotiations, implementation of all necessary promotional activities with your contacts with customer groups in the assigned sales area.

  • Convey the company's brand image in the construction market.

  • Setting prices and other terms of sale related to our products.

  • Supported marketing in the preparation of case studies and project reports and monitored customer and competitor behavior and communicated it in periodic reports.

  • Use of CRM: creation and maintenance of master and project data relevant to sales. Preparation of quotations.

Qualifications and skills

  • You bring a successful commercial experience of at least 5 years acquired in the fields of B.TP, a technical varnish will be a plus. You have a Bachelor's or Master's level.

  • Experience and knowledge of different forms of contracts will be appreciated.

  • An existing network and contacts in the world of B.TP in your area is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and advice to clients.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • You are self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.

  • Travel to your region is to be expected to develop your network of contacts, attend events such as trade shows/conventions to explore new business opportunities.
